    Lab Technician at the Ecotox Centre

  • 2002-2019

    Lab technician at Eawag, Dep. to Environmental Toxicology. Establishment of an ecotoxicological test battery, basic research in the field of ecotoxicology. Work with bacteria, algae, yeasts and cells. Participation in apprentice training, supervisors, further training as a nature and environmental specialist Sanu.

  • 2000-2002

    Lab Technician at Nestlé, Product Technology Centre. Microbiological analyses, monitoring of air etc. in experimental plants, development of new analytical methods in microbiology, preliminary tests in production (challenge tests), identification of microorganisms, breeding and maintenance of different cultures.

  • 1996-2000

    Lab Technician at Sulzer Medica R & D. Tissue Engineering, cell culture, frozen sections, immunohistochemistry, histology, biochemistry, microbiology. Method development. Dealing with human research material. Deputy head of laboratory. Guidance of students.

    Participation in various fields of research. COPD in horses, virus isolation, blood and cell differentiation, cell culture techniques. Work with bacteria, enzymes, protein chemistry (Western blot, HPLC, production of antibodies etc.).  Participation in the internships of the Vet. Students

    Apprenticeship as lab tehcnician in agrobiology at Dr. R. Maag AG in Dielsdorf. Fields of activity: Herbology, phytopathology, entomology, fermentation and physiology. Testing the efficacy of plant protection products. 6 months field trials. 1 year physiology with protein chemistry, photometry etc..
