Info sheet on pyrethroides

Pyrethroids are insecticides: They protect plants against damage caused by insects, but are also used to control mosquitoes/malaria, protect textiles and wood and for other applications.  The substances are among the most frequently used pesticides in the world, but they also pose a threat to non-target organisms. For this reason, the Ecotox Centre has published a new info sheet on the emissions, mechanism of action, toxicity and risk of the substances.
