Ecotox Centre at the Scientifica science festival

Last weekend, Alexandra Kroll supported Empa at Scientifica 2026 at the Switzerland Innovation Park Zurich in Dübendorf, providing the public with information on PFAS and their impact on the environment.

The issue surrounding this group of ‘forever chemicals’ is currently one of our key focus areas, and we are working alongside Empa and Eawag in a working group on PFAS. You can find out more about our joint research and activities on this website.

And Scientifica continues: this weekend, there is an extensive programme to explore at ETH Zurich and the University of Zurich.
